Spinnaker at Shipyard Hilton Head Island

We stayed at Spinnaker at Shipyard this year (2025) over Christmas and had a fantastic stay. We brought our own Christmas Tree and some decorations and it felt like “home for the holidays” The unit was very clean, the bed was SUPER comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner every night. (Except on Christmas Day, I had forgotten a spice at home I needed for my seafood recipe, and I couldn’t make it without it, NOTHING on the island is open on Christmas Day, so we went out for Thai food…just like in the movie!). The 2 bikes were a welcomed perk as having them come with the unit saved us about $150 for the week renting from a company. We could hop a bike on and peddle to the beach anytime we wanted! Fantastic experience in unit 446. The unit was clean, larger than we anticipated, and recently updated. Smart TVs in every room, a full kitchen, and everything in the unit was in good working order. These are older buildings but the location can’t be beat and the check-in process was a breeze - the office you check in at is right around the corner from one of the Shipyard entrances. Due to rain some of the earlier weekend events were a bit of a washout but the pool, pickleball courts and community grills were a hit! We loved having a parking pass for beach parking and enjoyed the two bikes that came with the rental. I would enthusiastically recommend this to anyone - don’t go expecting a brand new building, but if you want lots of space and great beach access this is the place for you. We

This location is sooooo lovely! I adore the views around The Cottages and Egret Point. Alsp, both of my rooms were very clean, and were fully stocked with every item that I would need. Thanks for a great time!

A great place for couples, family or a group of friends. The units are spacious with amenities close by. However unlike Airbnbs, the units are spacious is empty of all amenities except what noted on their website. So next time I come, I’ll know to pack salt and pepper😊. Grocery stores are within 4 miles so easy to get to. Bikes are provided which was a lovely bonus. Riding on the beach was a treat! ||

We have been staying here using timeshare points for several years and liked it enough to not stay at our home resort but stay here instead. In fact, we "banked" points for 2 years to be able to stay here. This year, however, we have been extremely disappointed.|First off, there is an odor of mold or mildew, maybe even a pet odor that is very strong. Both my husband and I cough a lot and have runny eyes when inside the unit, but not anywhere else. There are no screens in any of the windows, so to air it out, we have to have the windows open allowing bugs and a few small lizards inside. We did call the office to
