Speegleville Park

Easy access traveling from Hwy 6 two miles down to the campground. Most sites are fairly level and you can choose from lake front or inner loop up on the hill.

We camped at Speegleville COE in September 2020. There is a park called Speegleville RV that turns to the right just before the entrance of this campground. Do not turn in there! Continue straight to Speegleville Park. We had site #23 on the lake. It had a covered picnic area, grill, firepit, and picnic table. The site was level and utilities worked as they should. We were able to get several tv stations out of the air and our cell phones (Spectrum Mobile) worked. Most sites looked the same but we saw a couple without a roof over the patio. A couple of the sites were not as level as most but were still workable even for motorhomes. We never saw employees in the campground area but only up at the gate. This park was awesome. The only complaint that I have is, their grass really needed cutting. I had to use my weed eater to cut around our site. Some others brought their lawn mower. Other than that, it was great. Thank you

Great campground (not a hotel!) just outside the noise of Waco. Corps of Engineers park, great value with my Senior America Parks Pass. Fairly level site overlooking the lake! Tons of wildlife all around! Each site has a covered patio area with picnic table and grill on hard gravel. Love this place!
