AC Hotel Waco Downtown

Our stay here was just perfect. Bryce, Loretta and Karissa could not have been more helpful. They all were so nice and welcoming. We were moving family members from California to Waco and all was great, until winter storm Fern decided to drop in. Our flight home kept getting canceled and delayed causing us to stay a few extra nights. The staff (All mentioned above), were great and so understanding when we explained that twice, we had to extend our stay. Then we were greeted by Damien (the cook) and he gave us free breakfast coupons. Whatta nice surprise! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming were always greeted warmly in the halls and common areas. The room was sparkling clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Shout out to Jerome and Marcus and the entire staff at the hotel. Jerome came and fixed my TV promptly and was very personable and friendly. He had a great attitude and displayed great customer service! I had dropped my jacket off my bag when arriving to the hotel, a housekeeping staff member(Shout out to this person!) and they turned it in to the front desk. I called the front desk and Marcus let me know that it was turned in. I was going to pick it up the next morning, but Marcus graciously offered to bring it to me and within minutes he was at my door with my jacket. It is always great to get away and see new places, but the hotel you stay at can make the trip great or not so great. The location was great, but the feel of the hotel was just ok. We did not have a do not disturb sign in our room and the cleaning crew walked into our room before checkout time. That is a huge no no and just all around not ok. The room itself was fine, but for the age the floor is very banged up. A con of the room was also that it has a hazy glass sliding door to the bathroom that when closed, you can still see through the side into the bathroom. Noone really wants to be looked in on while they're on the toilet. The bar was pretty good and slept ok, but other than that would stay somewhere else next time.

We hosted a large conference at the AC Hotel and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The hotel team was extremely supportive, responsive, and genuinely easy to work with. Communication was clear, questions were answered quickly, and the staff went out of their way to ensure our event ran smoothly. Their professionalism and flexibility made a complex event feel manageable. The food and beverage service was AMAZING. We would absolutely host another event here and highly recommend the AC Hotel for conferences or large gatherings.
