Spark by Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront

This is probably the worst hilton owned property I've ever stayed at. I'm a diamond member and I probably will not stay at this particular hotel again. The staff was very friendly and did a great job at checking me in. So now for the bad. The hotel had a renovation but very poorly done. The elevators are missing ceiling tiles and the interior is of the elevators is atrocious. They used flooring for the walls and floor molding for the corners. The doors were never cleaned from the construction and are nasty. They used a lot of paint to cover things up and they splattered paint everywhere and didn't bother to clean it up. The room has tile floors which are very cold so you have to wear socks or slippers. The heat blows directly on the bed so the room is cool but you sweat when the heater

Other reviews here are not wrong, avoid this place. Where to begin. The common area hallways had carpet pulling up in multiple places. They had installed new carpet panels over old carpet. Only one elevator was operational, and it was in poor condition. The floor had soft spots, the walls were lined with vinyl flooring that appeared as a very bad DIY install and makes you wonder what other DIY jobs were done and maybe not safe. The emergency call button was broken, and a warning light was flashing on the outside panel. Throughout the property, windows were dirty and hallway doors had trim broken off and never replaced. We are usually Hilton people so we wanted to see what the new Sharp brand was like. We were happy with the location and had a beach view from our balcony. Parking was across the street but we were able to unload our things at the front of the hotel.|Our room was very clean and recently remodeled. The hallways and elevators obviously still need work. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate to start our day.|Sharp is obviously a few steps down in the Hilton chain but has potential. We would probably stay at another Sharp for a one night stay but we would look for more on a longer stay.

Service was excellent, there was some confusion on check in date but this was resolved very quickly. So trip.com did and excellent job, and provided great customer service. The Spark by Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront, was in an excellent location, my room provided a great view of the ocean, and very convenient, and within walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Let’s start here on my way there then cancel my reservation I booked on the app and the card was defaulted on the reservation could’ve easily been fixed….i called over ten times no answer after calling Hilton customer service they was able to get through and told him they was busy In the lobby at 1 p.m before check in and after checkout yea ok…. Anywho I get there around 5 and there is two clerks working and a full lobby but one clerk was on the phone helping a customer. There was an older white couple in front of me they were treated so nicely. But when it was my turn the lady looked at my I.D card and said I can’t take your I.D even though we have the same last name and same address but I digress I go get the account holders I.D when I come back in she is scanning my reservation trying t
