Spark by Hilton Tempe Phoenix Airport

Room was spacious, but that is the only good thing I have to say. Our room phone did not work and could not be fixed while we were there, so we had to call the hotel using our personal phone to make a request or report something wrong. We booked for 6 nights. Night one went well. Night two when I woke up to use the bathroom at 5:30 am we did not have water and at 8:00 am we only had cold water. We had a repeat the next night and morning. They refunded one night's cost of the room and one night's points. When we asked them to move us to another hotel they told us we were on our own and basically asked us to leave. The general manager Mira Hinton would NOT talk to my husband on the phone nor me when I went to the desk. I was told they would not go back and forth on this issue and that since

Spark is new and a Hilton rehab of the structure. I feels like they trying to make it a nice 2-star option near the airport. Some amenities weren’t ready yet, like the snacks store. The rooms are fresh and new but minimal. Soft beds and good tvs. It may have been the weekend I came but I felt like it was a bit overpriced for what i expected but with Honors, it was okay. My favorite part was the desk staff. Mary and Joseph specifically were very welcoming and helpful. There’s not shuttle but they do have a deal with Lyft to get you to the airport.

Had a really nice stay at the Comfort Suites in Phoenix. The staff was great, especially Karina, who went well out of her way to help us. Our room was very comfortable, and everything worked! Great shower, and extremely clean room.||Breakfast was much better than some of the other Choice Hotels where we've stayed. Lots of good options.||The Comfort Suites offers Lyft service to and from Sky Harbor Airport. It costs $12.50, regardless of the number of passengers and luggage. Service was extremely fast - we didn't have to wait longer than five minutes both times.||The only down side to the hotel is that there are no restaurants in walking distance. Positive: Location and ability to check in late. I had a reservation. Negative: A/c was loud

I understand that remodeling is going on but there was no hot water and a "I'm sorry there's absolutely nothing we can do for you" from the front desk really was really irritating. Also the rooms do not have true queen size beds, they're full size.
