Spark by Hilton Savannah Airport

Before I get into it, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Nothing about this place was such that I would not stay here in a pinch. The best way I can sum it up is the name should have been Sparce instead of Spark. You walk in seeing what looks as good as any modern hotel such as Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, etc... but the then you go to your room through an unkept elevator to a room with the room no# taped to the wall. Fan in the bathroom was falling out. Bed was comfy and not "preformed" from the 500 guests that slept there before you. Linens were clean and comfortable. Not a bad room. Then I came down for breakfast and are disappointed. Not only was it cold foods only, but the offerings were sparce and oddly arranged. For instance, you picked up a bagel (which

Positive: The staff and the hospitality. Negative: I was misinformed that the pool was under construction . When booked I called to verify they had a pool and I was told yes she did not tell me it was not open.Bringing a teenager in the heat that we had it could have been better to let it be known.

Located just off I-95, Spark by Hilton provided a clean, comfortable, affordable and friendly stay. The breakfast was basic with bagels, oatmeal, yogurt, fruits and boiled eggs. Dining and serving areas were kept clean and well stocked. The desk was very accommodating and friendly. We will definitely use this hotel in future trips.

Great location close to the airport with shuttle service. |We had never stayed in a Spark before but thought Hilton would have higher standards. |It smells like a public pool in the lobby and the front desk person was not very friendly or helpful. |The breakfast area looks like a school cafeteria. |The room was definitely ok for the price, but we’ll probably not stay in a Spark again.

The room was spacious and clean, the staff were friendly, and everything worked except the bedside lights. The room finishes were not as nice as other Hilton properties, but that's why it costs less. It was fine for what we needed.
