Spark by Hilton Kannapolis

*FYI~ Elevator out of order (there's 4 floors) Outside curb appeal was nice. I like the cushioned patio area with the Edison lights lit. What a wonderful welcome from the night employee. (His name begins with an C I think.) He was friendly and very professional. We were fortunate to only carry our luggage up to the 2nd floor! The room was clean and thankfully no bugs were present! The bed was comfortable and no stains on the linens. Unfortunately, the tv couldn't get Netflix,Disney, Prime etc. The shower had great hot water pressure. Continental breakfast was served. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is a former comfort inn that has been rebranded and renovated. As for the renovations, you can tell where they spent the money and you can definitely tell where they didn’t. The positives- it was incredibly hot and the AC in the room worked well. The TV is huge and up to date. The bed is comfortable. The room is fresh and clean. The negatives- the AC everywhere else did not work, and it seems like this was by choice. The bathroom is very small. The breakfast is very, very basic and doesn’t offer a lot of fresh stuff. You get a selection of bagels but some of them are rock hard. Housekeeping only comes every other day. The takeaway is this hotel is good fit if you’re staying one night while traveling. It’s honestly not inexpensive enough to justify a longer stay.

Positive: Hotel employee front desk. Cleaning staff were visible n hard working Negative: Attitude from night clerk.….acted put out when asked about tv not working. It was resolved readily but his attitude was indifferent n callous!

I had a nice stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was quiet. Whatever issues they may have been having (based on other reviews) with the construction seem to be gone. As others noted, the breakfast was very simple. Just bagels, toast and cereal. Nothing sweet, nothing hot.

Currently moving out of the state for good and had to rest here a few nights with my two boys. The staff is very fair, kind, and helpful. The breakfast items are your everyday quick grab breakfast items. There’s nothing wrong with this. This is a fine place to stay if you’re not looking for a red carpet to be pulled out.
