Spark by Hilton Fishkill

Not sure why there are so many poor reviews, this hotel is great for this grade/price. The staff are friendly and the rooms are newly refurbished. There’s free coffee all day and breakfast is included. The lobby is basic yet clean. The elevator does need a renovation but it works no problem, and how long are you going to stay in an elevator of a 4 storey hotel? Hallways are a bit dark but you’ll be pleased when you enter your room.

I am genuinely surprised by some of the negative reviews, as our experience at this hotel was excellent. We typically stay at other Hilton-branded properties, but decided to try something different during this trip, and we were very pleased with our choice. The rate was quite reasonable, and the room exceeded our expectations in both comfort and appearance. The room featured modern amenities such as a smart TV with an actual channel guide, an LED mirror, and a digital thermostat, all of which added to the upscale feel of the room. We also enjoyed a beautiful view of the mountains from our window. The elevator did look a little dated, but y’all are not sleeping in it! The hotel’s location is ideal — easily accessible from I-84 and close to restaurants, gas stations, and coffee shops.

Felt tricked by pics and it being a Hilton. Elevator was awful! Jolted alot and never new what floor it would open to. Heaters at each end of hallway made sure temperature stayed at 90° inside the room the ac would reset everyday back to 75 Every day we had to go back to lobby and reset key card . Lady said it was a computer issue on dates? Toilet seat was barely hanging on. Had blood stains on sheets on one of the beds. Appliances looked to be from 80s. Beds were comfortable. However we woke up at 4am to screaming and banging above us for a long time. Mentioned something to the man at the desk, he simply replied "call the police" Have been Hilton Honors members for years. Very dissatisfied . Especially for the price

This was by far the most disappointing hotel experience I’ve had. The room itself was fine, with the exception of the long black hairs I kept finding everywhere (not mine) and the fact that there is no conditioner in the shower. It’s not that the conditioner was empty, it simply was not provided. The young ma at the front desk didn’t acknowledge us at any point as we walked past the front desk. Obviously whatever he was watching on his cell phone was more important than customer service. The coffee was lukewarm and their “breakfast” was a choice of bagel, cereal or hard boiled egg. We found a Starbucks just down the street. We will not stay here again. Other hotels in the area- choose wisely.

Positive: "" Negative: It was not specified that the building was undergoing renovations and there was construction activity occurring in the lobby area when we arrived. Onthe 4th floor where we stayed, building supplies were left in view. The 1 elevator worked on & off.
