Hilton Garden Inn Poughkeepsie/Fishkill

First time for us to stay at Hilton Inn at Fishkilll. It was very quiet environment and there is a supermarket nearby and some restaurants so it was very convenient. Room: spacious and comfortable and big bed we were able to rest well. Although we could hear boiler or some sort of machines noise all the time where we stayed at 2F…except that it was lovely stay. They’ve got a spacious fridge and big desk which was also lovely to have during our stay. Amenities: we were surprised that there was no kettle provided in a room but probably it’s common in the US, but at least they had a microwave so we were able to boil water. We asked reception if we could borrow a kettle and they said they would come back by a call but they never came back to us. Reception: was nice and friendly people were the

This is a standard Hilton Garden Inn, which is my preferred hotel when traveling for business. The room was spotless with no chemical odors. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was perfectly comfortable with lots of fluffy pillows. The bathroom towels were soft and ample. ||Check-in in was painless, polite and friendly. I was exhausted from a long trip and so I wasn't particularly cheerful, but the person who checked me in made it easy. I wish I had gotten her name so I could recognize her here, but I was so tired I neglected to do so. ||The location, right off Rt 84 is super convenient for travelers. On the whole this Hilton met all my expectations, and at a reasonable price.

Overall, it was a fine stay, but I think there are better properties that are newer and better maintained in the area. The rooms are very old and need to be updated, there wasn’t a single USB charger in the entire room and all the furniture and upholstery is outdated. You can see from the picture. Some stuff was a bit dirty also. The staff was nice, but my interaction was very minimal. I made a major rookie mistake and had a room facing I 84. It was extremely loud at all hours of the day and night. I feel like the windows could’ve had some sound proofing. Finally, I did not appreciate the laundry bin from housekeeping being outside my door after I came back from the gym. I also received a knock on the door at 10 AM although I think checkout is 11 AM. And I was not checked out yet.

Travel for business and stayed one night. Checked in through app plus went to desk for an access card. Room was ready as promised a staff very courteous. Parking was plenty and free. Room was very clean and bed very comfortable. Bathroom clean and well stocked. Fitness room and pool were open and very clean. Had chicken sandwich at bar and was very very good. A lot of stores very close. Would stay again. Scenery was a plus.

We were just passing though on our way back from Maine. Front desk staff exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. Very nice room, comfortable and clean A little surprised breakfast isn’t included in the price. They do have a breakfast buffet and made to order items but we didn’t try it. Overall good experience for a good nights rest after being on the road all day.
