Southern Comfort Motel

I came here 2 years ago when passing through and stayed at this motel. It’s now 2024 since then it looks like they upgraded. They Don’t have any bug which is good and last time I stayed they didn’t either.if your staying for a night they don’t give you a key you just got to lock the door behind you.i don’t recommend bringing kids since they do charge by the hour if you know what I mean for you know what. If you passing through give it try no bugs and affordable if your okay with that and yes I did felt safe enough to stay.

2 is the most I'll give. The owners will take turns staying awake to do the window and what not, but are prone to give attitudes. It's not my fault that they want to keep 2 people running the office like that so why even give a tone that was never received in the first place? This isn't a place to come take your kids to either since it is an "hourly" motel if you get what I'm saying. From my time being there it was ok in the beginning. I had a messy neighbor next door always knocking on the door asking for something when my man was around. Cleaning crew was OK except for 1 who unlocked my door while I was still in the bed. This motel has a lot of messy people here, just don't engage with them it's that simple. Hotel people will throw in some courtesy on their end of the table if you stay P

I didn’t even have to go to this motel for me to experience this rudeness. I just called to ask about the room rate and if they had any availability for a 2bed room and a Muslim or Arab or not sure answered and informed me that he will not give me any info over the phone and just hung up on me so I will never know if they did have anything available because I will not waste my time to go and see about a room when the owners,managers or what they may be, are rude on the phone!

They cleaner than the rest... But the staff has a tendency to get disrespectful at times... Not just them out various other merchant's or buisness owners need to come back DOWN to EARTH AND REMEMBER THAT WITHOUT US THERE'S NO THEM... AND BE HUMBLE AS WELL AS GREATFULL THAT THEY WERE CHOSEN TO RECEIVE OUR HARD EARNED dollars..

PLEASE READ IMPORTANT! I went to the window with a friend staying at SOUTHERN COMFORT MOTEL on Methodist in Jacksom,Ms to make a reservation.The lady told me they DONT have any rooms available. So I decided to call because I knew she was lying. I waited in my car about 15min n made a call .The guy told me they do have rooms available but don't make reservations. He said I could come there. I asked price for single person, I want a room for 2 nights. He said $45 per night. I told him my friend just got room for $40. He said, he'd charge Me 40. Ok?, I will Be there 10min. When I approached the window He quickly said he has no rooms available. Now SOMETHINGS WRONG HERE I have never been thrre b4, I m very decent. IV got money ready. He don't want to give me a room.
