Nice quiet trail camp. Love the peace and quiet here! Vault toilets are pretty well kept.
Great spacious campground sites with rustic facilities, pit toilets and no showers, but the South Branch of the AuSable River. Quieter than other campgrounds on the AuSable River. The BEST fly-fishing part of the AuSable River along the Mason Tract 11 mile point to point trail between Chase Bridge and Smith Bridge. Also, great canoeing from Chase Bridge to Smith Bridge with ~4 hours if not paddling much. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 🎣⛺️🛶
Rustic, clean, and close to the river! Have been visiting this campground for over 25 years!
