Kneff Lake Campground

Beautiful little lake. The National Forest Campground is really nice and maintained. The first loop is very nice with paved spots for rvs and the second loop has dirt sites mostly used by tents and small campers. Nice swimming with a beach that is handicap accessible. Vault toilets that are very nice and a few potable water spigets.

Decided last moment to book a campground with Lake Kneff, and I will for sure be returning. We booked site 12, when we arrived we didn’t think our 10 person tent was going to fit, but it did. The only downfall to this site, is that it is on a hill, so I wouldn’t recommend it with smaller children. On site 12, you have a beautiful view of Lake Kneff. You’re close to the bathroom and beach access walk. The campground host, and all the volunteers are extremely nice, and greet you with a smile and “good morning.” Over all, what I thought was not going to work out, was the best choice. We can’t wait to be back!!

Beautiful rustic campground with nearby late for fishing and swimming.

The campground is secluded. Bathrooms are clean and stocked. Rained most the night so the gravel road coming in was getting soft. The campground closes Sept 30. Saw whitetail deer driving out.

Nice spot to go swimming with the family if you're around the area, or even to camp
