I love this place! Simple, very clean, and affordable. Also love that they provided a few extras for my boyfriends birthday! I'm the girl that checks every nook and cranny in a hotel room, when I dont have a reason to complain, I give 5 stars, well deserved 👏 ✨️ 🙌

My wife and I went over to Manistee and played golf at the Manistee national and we wanted to come over to Higgins Lake which we had been to before which is a gorgeous and we had stayed up and Gaylord the different golf resorts but I had read about this Woodland And had great reviews. so it was between a $90 standard room or 150 for 1200 ft.² house no-brainer. Just caught caught available on a Thursday night. My house is only 1700. Yes as another bedroom and bath, but this was very nice kitchen and humongous, lots of tables and chairs and a nice deck big living room to average size bathrooms even a laundry room.||The only changes maybe is I think they need some new couches in the bed are a little bit soft little firm mattress is needed but other than that the shower works good nice and the

Positive: It was more like staying in a home atmosphere.There were outdoor games, such as cornhole. There were flowers next to our door. There was a barbecue there were picnic tables and playground. There was grass and trees just like your own backyard. Negative: The only thing I could wish for is an ice machine, but I would give that up for everything else it had.

When I want a reasonably priced place for an overnight stay on a trip, I like to avoid chain hotels that are expensive and sometimes disappointing, but it can be hard to find a personally owned classic motel type property. This one hits the mark. I was looking for an overnight stay on my way up to the Upper Peninsula, and Woodland is just off I-75. You can trust the positive reviews here. We just spent 2 nights there over the weekend and had a great stay. We had 2 dogs with us and it was perfect! Will definitely be back if we’re in the area again.
