South Beach Inn & Vacation Rentals

Our first time staying in Sea Pines and we wanted to stay here. The people in the office were very friendly and accommodating. The pictures online are just as you will see and experience, very accurate. However, some of the furnishings could use some refreshing. The couch cushions were so compressed there was nothing to them and when you sat on the couch it was like a concrete stool, very low to the ground. The bed was advertised as a Queen size bed but I really don't think it was. The dresser pitched about 4-5 inches towards you every time you opened the drawers that at first seems like the whole thing is going to fall on top of you. I thought we could cook here, but not so. Fantastic staff from start of stay to end. Helpful, courteous and even fun. The room was as expected. Quaint and comfortable. Short drive to Harbor Town at the other end of island. Sunset/full moon cruise aboard the Salty Dog was perfect as was ship's company. The Salty Dog Cafe had great staff and delicious food. Low country boil, shrimp n sausage stew was perfect after the cool/cold cruise. The price of $9 for the pass is worth it. Definitely recommended.

My high-school graduate daughter and I stayed in Suite 107 at the Marina. We wandered the boardwalks, around an entertainment courtyard, climbed a very steep covered stairway to our condo. Charming beyond belief! Our unit was a single bedroom loft with 2 queen beds upstairs. We entered to the great room with a worn, but comfy sofa and chairs. It had a tiny kitchenette-just perfect for us and a full bath. A circular stair up the the loft with its own full bath. The air-conditioning was powerful enough to keep us northerners cool! We have been going to Hilton Head for over 20 years and stayed in many great condos and houses over this period. This week my wife and I came down without our kids or grandchildren so we only needed a one bedroom unit. My wife had stayed at the Inn on a couple of occasions with girlfriends when they were down for a teachers weekend beach fix/mental health adjustment. She suggested that we stay at the South Beach Marina Inn. ||We arrived a few minutes after closing time for the rental office but the hostess had waited up for us so check-in was a snap. ||It was great, just perfect for the two of us. Our stay was one night it is a hotel room is small but quaint keep in mind there's no kitchen Just a microwave a little sink and a refrigerator very close to all of the foot traffic for the stores the restaurants the beach access. The staff was friendly let us check in early room was clean well-kept the outside deck could use a little fixing as it is rough a little table outside would have been nice to be able to sit and have some place to set your drinks other than that we enjoyed it.
