Sonesta Select Greenbelt College Park

Stayed here a few weekes back.... a few complaints, but tbh, it was over all a nice stay... the owner (i think) was pretty chill as long as youre not being rude. He even hooked me up on the last day. Im guessing because I wasn't a nuisance. Id say the onky down fall of this place is the actual customers... man they had some NASTY folks in there.... but please be understanding of the staff, they have to deal with that kind of customer base ALL THE TIME... so they may seem rude off break, but once they realize you are kind, they return it... its not easy dealing with ignorant rude people. Thank you to the older gentleman who accommodated me each night i asked to extend my stay. :) and tonyour younger employees (sons?) Theybwere also very nice.

Positive: Location Negative: The $200 hold on a credit card is absurd. It's beyond clear they have a problem with people smoking weed in the hotel because the elevator, hallways, and rooms reek of it. This, however, does not mean everyone should have to endure a $200 "room hold".

i thoroughly enjoyed my one night stay at the Sonesta Select in Greenbelt Md on 9/6/24. |the checkin and check out process was easy and professionally. the lady at the desk was Cheryl who works weekends, she was very helpful. The place was clean and the continental breakfast was nice, by that I mean there was enough food when I arrived and a nice variety. My only complaint was my room #100. the room faced the courtyard and the bright light remained on. all night which was a little annoying but if they put a dark curtain there that would take care of the problem. other than that I would definietly returned and highly recommend the Sonesta Select.

I recently stayed at Sonesta ES Suites in Greenbelt, MD. I want to acknowledge that one young man at the front desk was helpful and professional during my stay. The water pressure and hot water were also excellent. However, the overall experience was unacceptable. The refrigerator in the room did not get cold enough to safely preserve food. The ice machine on our floor was not working. The pool appeared dirty, and the jacuzzi was old and visibly peeling. The workout room had no water and no sanitizing wipes available, and overall felt neglected. Breakfast was one of the main reasons I chose this property. Upon arrival, there was a sign stating there was no cook because it was “slow right now.” That should be clearly communicated before booking. Advertising breakfast and then not provid

The room itself was mostly fine. However, I have a feather allergy and all of the pillows had feathers. I called down to the front desk to ask for them to switch out the feather to foam pillows. I was told they needed to check and see if they had any. I asked “because I have an allergy, if you don’t have any, what would be the solution?”. The person I was speaking with proceeded to raise his voice at me and tell me “I’m going to have to check” and then hung up on me. So I walked down to the front desk, he then told me they don’t have any foam pillows. I again asked what my options were because I’m allergic. He told me I could use the pillows from the couch/chair in the room (which looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in about 15 years). So I had to buy my own pillows from Target.
