Customer Reviews
When the venue for a 50 person meeting I was hosting fell through because of the snowstorm, we were able to book a meeting room at the Hilton Garden Inn with under 24 hours notice. The manager of the hotel was responsive and easy to work with. The price was very reasonable. The meeting space and the lobby was lovely and more than met our needs. I'm very grateful to the friendly and helpful staff there.
We stayed at the Hilton Greenbelt for UMD Family Weekend. We have stayed there multiple times to visit our son who is a student at UMD. ||Pros|-Super friendly front desk staff. So nice and greet you warmly every time you pass by and are so helpful with any questions. They make you feel very welcome. |-Great location close to UMD and lots of shopping and food|-The hotel is getting a much needed facelift and upgrade. The rooms are much nicer than they were last year. ||Cons|-It is currently under construction, which we did not know until 24 hours before. There was no disclosure of that when we booked. We received an email a day before saying there may not be enough parking. This meant limited parking and food / drink options. We chose to stay here with extended family thinking we could avoid
Positive: The room was really nice and clean Negative: The hotel was under construction, we had to pay for parking 17 dollars which I felt was ridiculous and inconvenient. Then I sat out in the rain for 45 min awaiting the rude lady at the desk to find my reservation.
Horrible experience on the night of 3/4/26. I booked a room as a diamond member, picked my room via app, called and was told that room I picked on the app wasn’t even available and I would be assigned another, then told the owner/general manager turned off Apple Pay and the feature to get a digital key. I didn’t even mention that I called 6 times before the lady even picked up the phone, when she did she acted as if she didn’t know why they digital key wasn’t working for us to show up in person for her to admit the feature was turned off. I asked to cancel the room and she said she the owner/general manager doesn't allow that and I would be charge the full price even and could speak to him in the morning……lets just say, I’ll stick to my regular hotels I frequent when visiting and would no
The Hotel itself is beautiful, Rooms are nice and modern, With great amenities. Just a little bit on the small side. But as a current front desk agent myself. Upon my arrival , I was disappointed!! Valerie didn't seem very friendly. I stood at the desk for about 5 mins or so before I was even greeted. She never looked up , She seemed preoccupied with task she was doing on the computer. I know in this business it's not always easy ! But a friendly hello and a smile can go along way !
