Everything was just perfect. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly, welcoming, courteous and efficient, from the concierge desk to lounge to breakfast hostesses. When one staffer at front desk was having a delay with guest ahead of us (and. commendably, remaining poised and professional throughout), another clerk stepped right in, registering us quickly. In town for only one night, we immediately chose to stay here when we needed to stay over another day. Our room was spacious and immaculate. King bed had two sizes of pillows, high quality linens. reading lights, side lamps and USB ports, Keurig coffee-maker and fridge (no microwave) all made it easy to be comfortable. Bathroom was spotless (we so appreciate the switch to wall-mounted products instead of little plastic bottles) with gre

Positive: Surprisingly, the bed. It was plush and very comfortable. Negative: Common areas aren’t cleaned consistently. Ice is offered in small baggies from a deep freezer on the first floor—odd setup. Housekeeping starts at 8:00 a.m., which may feel early for some guests.

The room service is good — they clean the room and make the bed every day. However, the bar and restaurant service is very unprofessional and completely lacks hospitality. The bartender doesn’t seem to take pride in her role or in providing good service. When you talk to her, it feels like you’re bothering her — she listens but doesn’t really engage or respond, giving the impression of “What do you want? Okay… fine… everything good? Great.” It’s just horrible. We were charged $11 for a beer that the menu clearly listed as $8. When we asked her about it, she just said she charges whatever the system says — $11 — with no apology. As Platinum Elite members, it’s not about the $11 at all; what really matters is the hospitality and acknowledgment of the customer, which were completely missing.

Once upon a time this was my favorite hotel. I am an Atlanta transplant from Maryland and this was the only hotel I would stay at for years, whether business or pleasure. It was great. The best customer service, clean, well ran elevators... When Janine was on the front desk and the bar was popping. Over the last few years, it has gone to trash. Like a fool , I have kept coming back hoping they would get it right and bring back the glory days. I have started going to other hotels. But, this is usually the best price. So I keep giving it a try. Not even worth the price difference anymore. The only thing I will still stand by is the kitchen staff. Those ladies are wonderful. Every single time I have come over the course of at least the last 2 years, it has been an issue. Ironically, the las

Visited the restaurant at this hotel in search of a quick spot to have drinks while we watched the superbowl. The service we received from our bartender Lauren was stellar. However for some reason when the guy from the kitchen who we learned was called Papi, came out to deliver her order to the bar things got a bit weird. Whatever the issue was with our food Lauren assured him that she would take care of it. Papi continuously provoked Lauren at which time Lauren advised him that she was in full control of the bar and that he needed to get back back to the kitchen. Lauren was a Rockstar as she handled patrons coming in and out with ease while constantly checking with my group which was the largest group at the bar at that time and we stayed the longest. While Lauren's service never lacked,
