Sonesta Select Boca Raton Town Center

Extremely unpleasant experience. If you are staying in Boca, stay literally anywhere else. The room stinks like must and mold, they refused to clean your room, even on the three days where they say they’re going to, and the rooms feel very outdated compared to some comparable options. I’ve literally stayed in motels nicer than this. Edit: never have I once in my life come back and added EVEN MORE to a bad review, but here we go. I am so unbelievably extremely dissatisfied with the service at this hotel, they completely refuse to clean their room, if you want even absolutely the smallest thing from them, you have to come to the front desk and wait in a 20 minute line because they refuse to bring anything to you, and you could not pay them $1 million to come and clean your room when they sa

Room was sub-par. Sheets poor quality. Loud AC unit. Toilet did not flush. Old and tired look and feel. The exercise room was a shoe box. Service - Not the best. One front desk person was un-friendly and didn't engage or say hi. Amenities were OK - No water bottles given at check-in or in the room. I asked front desk and they said they don't have complimentary water. What? Almost everywhere you go, they give water - it's such a minimal cost in the grand scheme. Location is OK - Along a major highway so loud but convenient access. It is close to restaurant options and the mall which was nice. Look elsewhere if you have options.

No serious complaints about the rooms and amenities - bedroom was fine with very comfortable beds, the bathroom was old and tatty and the water pressure could have been better. Nice heated swimming pool. But the service was terrible. There is no daily cleaning of rooms. Instead there is a 'refresh' every three days. In practice we had to remind reception twice that we were due a refresh and even then they did not provide more toilet paper.

Positive: Customer service, clean facility , amenities, Negative: I loved it so much, i wanted to extend my stay but they were at capacity so i had to book a room for another 7 days at the Boca plaza, not as nice as the Sonesta

I hardly ever write reviews, I think this might be my third review ever but holy moly this place was horrible. I travel all over the US for work and I have even stayed at some of the worst motels in the Stanford area for work. None of them compare to the experience I received during my stay at this Sonesta this week. I have never witnessed employees care so little that their ceiling is literally gushing water. I first brought it to their attention that the panel on the ceiling in front of my room was dripping and they said they would handle it. 20 mins later there was a bucket placed and the whole ceiling rectangle had fallen and was in several pieces in front of my door.
