Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island

We went on New Year’s Eve expecting to stay for two nights and loved the hotel and environment so much that we stayed until January 8th!!! We were greeted warmly by Andre at the front desk who made us feel welcomed throughout our stay! The room was perfect and the view of the beach and pools was lovely, with incredible sunrises almost every day. We took advantage of the refrigerator and had our own breakfast in the room, but ate all of our dinners in the bar area. The braised chicken plate and the salmon and spinach risotto were our favorites! The pool area and the beach were magnificent! I recommend staying here during the winter months as it provided us with a relaxing vacation away from home! This hotel is priced right, too!!! We stayed at two other hotels before coming to the S

This is our 3rd visit to a Sonesta property and it is becoming a favorite brand. The property is located in a private community. There is easy beach access, although there is currently a beach restoration project taking place that limits beach use. The resort features everything you need to not leave the property. The pools were heated which was nice this time of year. Lots of green space as well. There's a coffee shop, bar, and restaurants onsite. Customer service was outstanding throughout the resort. The resort is pet friendly. If you like to bike, walk, or run, the resort has easy access to the bike paths on the island. This was a great stay in the off-season.

All-around great experience celebrating a special time in life. Staff was very friendly and accommodating - Jeff went above and beyond for us, exceeding expectations. We had great food for both of the dinners we had at the Driftwood Bar. Breakfast package was well worth it. Room was very clean and comfortable with a beautiful ocean view.

Stayed at this property 40+ years ago when it was a Marriott resort. Now the Sonesta, it has a great staff, wonderful pool area, rooms were excellent, and easy access to the beach. Public areas and rooms have been recently renovated and are clean and fresh. Bedding was comfortable. We’ll be back on visits to Hilton Head in the future.

late review but my husband & 1 year old had a wonderful time at sonesta back in september. very relaxing, beautiful upgrades. we enough poolside bingo as well as the great food. the seafood dip is phenomenal. also, nigil at the front desk offered exceptional customer service!! we appreciate everything he did to ensure we had a wonderful stay. we will definitely be returning next year.
