Sonesta Essential Houston Energy Corridor

Price was good, but we had to leave a cash deposit of $100 with no receipt offered. That was returned upon checking out. WiFi was difficult to log into. Room was clean, but bathroom really was in need of paint and rust removal. Breakfast was fruit, cold cereal and toast. We asked if there was any protein and the answer was "only on weekends". Coffee maker barely worked. It gave us a very reasonable place to sleep for one night on a cross country drive. I wouldn't stay longer.

This place is horrible everyone in the front desk has an attitude about everything and that's very sad. The washer hasn't been working since me and my family checked in. Ask about it and the white lady or Hispanic or Mexican with the glasses that told my daughter that she was the Front desk Manager said it wasn't working for awhile now, had an attitude with my child an didn't give any explanation to why and when it will be fixed. The elevator keeps going out and the house keepers are out of order Period. We was lied to when arrived, don't stay here they housekeepers don't even give enough towels nor soap when ask for nor do they clean the rooms you literally have to ask for a clean and stand and watch them when that should be given. Horrific experience! Be aware that they steal your stuff from the rooms. My glasses and microphone disappeared from my room after their housekeeper cleaned my room. I placed No Disturb sign on my room so that no one enters as I do not know what else they could steal from me. I made a complaint and asked for reimbursement of damages which they didn't do, instead when I made the extension and paid for it, they retaliated against me asking me to leave immediately - they didn't give me even an hour to leave, half of my stuff is still in the hotel. I changed my room during my stay three times because nothing was working - coffee machine is not working, air conditioner is not working, maintenance team is not available, elevator is not working, staff is rude and unprofessional. I feel very disappointed I didn't expect the service will be that poor. Let me break it down so they won't fool you in Future if you want to book a room in this hotel .
