Sonesta ES Suites San Francisco Airport San Bruno

I stayed here for about a week. The rooms are quite large. The sofa bed isn't comfortable, but the kitchen is great. There's a large fridge and better counter space than most hotels. The rooms feel a little bit older, but for the price it's not bad. The location is convenient for taking BART into the city or to the airport. The area is pretty safe and the breakfast is good.

Positive: It was clean. Negative: The shuttle from the airport wasn’t available. We had to take a taxi which the hotel paid for but we had to run around the airport at 11:30 pm

The pros definitely outweighed the cons of this place for us. We stayed here as a family of 5 for 5 nights. We stayed here as our home base for a trip exploring in and around San Francisco. ||We were pleasantly surprised with the location. Close to Target and lots of restaurants. The room was exactly what we hoped for with 3 kids- living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The closet in one of the bedrooms was large and helped keep clutter away. The room was clean. We enjoyed the hot tub each night (and the kids went in the heated pool). Breakfast was a little different each day, which was nice. Good coffee with a few creamer options, which made me happy. We were disappointed they never had bacon any of our 5 breakfasts, but we did had ham, chorizo, and sausage. Bagels also. Th

One of the largest three-bed hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in with plenty of space for everyone. The in-room fridge and kitchen area were solid and convenient for longer stays. The continental breakfast offered a good variety of food & beverage options. There was a noticeable smoke smell throughout the stay, which was the main drawback. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel’s proximity to the airport is great for travelers, though expect a few flyovers. No elevator, so expect to be able to use the stairs should your room be on the second or third level Overall, a spacious and comfortable stay with a few minor drawbacks.

The room was spacious and clean, but the furniture, carpet and coffee maker were old, broken and just beat up. Housekeeping is not a daily service if you stay a week or less. The front desk staff at check in didn't tell us that so we had to learn that the hard way. The evening clerk was rude and acted like he was personally paying for bedding, terrible customer service. The breakfast isn't bad, but if you don't eat pork don't expect a lot of protein options. The lady who works the breakfast area is very kind and hard working J'Den is great too, friendly and helpful.
