Hotel Aura

We needed a place to stay for the night before a very early flight from SFO. The Hotel Aura was ideal! The parking was indoor, free, and very accessible (the garage elevator services all three room levels). We were actually able to park right next to the elevator. Check-in was quick and very courteous. The room was very spacious and very comfortable. Everything was fresh and nicely maintained. And it was only about a 6 minute drive to the airport car rental return complex. This was a terrific value.||A word of advice if you are returning a car at the airport. The return process was very quick. But the rental complex is connected to an Air Train, which makes 6 or 7 stops before getting to the terminals. This one is a secret gem! It starts with free parking on site. Then comes excellent service. Then you walk into a room that is much larger than you would expect. It was spacious! With a microwave and a refrigerator! It was one of the best rooms I've stayed in outside of a Blue Blood type hotel. The price is too low for what you get! It's not downtown, but you could stay here for a month for what those guys want for a week. Even the traffic was light in the area! If ever I am in San Francisco again, I know where I'm staying! We enjoyed the King Plus room - not only was the room spotless when we arrived, but it was easily one of the more spacious rooms we've had when traveling the last few years. The hotel has been recently remodeled, and the two rooms we saw (the other a handicapped accessible king) were lovely! The layouts maximized the usable space and were very comfortable. Since we were in SFO, we were pleasantly surprised given the affordable price-point of the hotel. The free breakfast was a continental type with limited items, but perfectly good to get in a meal before heading out for the day. The front desk personnel were super friendly and helpful! Plus, a free shuttle to/from the airport equates to a nice, clean, attractive hotel at an affordable price. Truly a hidden gem in an expensive city

The accommodation is located a bit outside the city, but it offers good value for money. Both underground and above-ground parking are available. We were assigned a room on the second floor, but it was right in front of the breakfast area, which was quite surprising. There are no laundry facilities. However, we were satisfied with our stay.

I did not get the privilege of staying here, but I will say the lady at the front desk tonight is amazing. I did not manage to get her name 😰 I was in a state of panic, trying to check on my dad. His household lives in Ohio and I live in Kentucky. My dad is on a work trip by himself. He does have a work crew out there, but no one really knows eachother. Sadly, there are language barriers that prevent them from doing so. However, when my family and I noticed things were off with my dad's normal tendencies, and we could not make contact with him. Our minds went to the worst. Being so far away, we reached out to his hotel. The woman at the front desk went above and beyond. She reached out to get approval from a manager and got together with a co worker of his, in a separate room, to go togeth
