Hotel Skye

This is one of the very few times I feel compelled to write a Google review, but this experience was extremely disappointing. I checked in around 6 PM. According to the online listing, the hotel advertised EV charging, which was one of the reasons I booked. However, upon arrival, I discovered the charger was only providing $0.6 kW, which is roughly the same speed as nearby public chargers averaging around $0.4 kW, but at a higher price. For a “hotel charger,” this offered no real advantage and was misleading to advertise. The soundproofing was terrible. I could clearly hear noises from outside and neighboring rooms throughout the night. On top of that, the room type I received was not the same as what I booked on Expedia, which was very frustrating. This hotel is a boutique-style property located near the San Francisco International Airport, offering a range of amenities suited for travelers. Overall it was OK. That’s why it’s a 3. The biggest plus was the shuttles. It runs on a schedule so read the schedule if you are flying into SFO. I stayed one night and it was comfortable. Not luxurious but overall clean. They provide decent toiletries. Hallway carpets could be cleaned. I wasn’t able to stay for the complimentary breakfast due to an early flight.

I really like this hotel. It's clean, safe, offers spacious rooms with a fridge and microwave. The rooms have been recently remodeled so the decor and furniture is modern. There Is an airport shuttle and very friendly staff. Lots of neighborhood restaurants. Close to transportation to San Francisco. Very glad we found this 💎
