Sonesta Columbus Downtown

Our stay at the Sonesta Columbus Downtown Hotel was absolutely wonderful. We are from Cincinnati and came here for business. We stayed in one of the loft rooms, and it truly felt like staying in a modern city loft—spacious, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. The bed and pillows were amazing, and everything was spotless. The whole environment felt clean, welcoming, and peaceful. The hospitality was outstanding. Brian Dickens and his team went above and beyond with customer service—friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Vincente was just as fantastic, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We had a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend this hotel!

We are repeat customers and have always had great experiences with this hotel. When our daughter’s volleyball tournament was affected by severe weather, the staff went above and beyond by allowing us to cancel our reservation even though we were past the cancellation deadline. The communication was proactive, kind, and professional, which made a stressful situation so much easier. This level of flexibility and customer service is exactly why we continue to come back and will absolutely stay here again in the future. Highly recommend!

Positive: The check in was quick and staff was very helpful. Negative: I found a Snicker's wrapper on the floor of our room and a half-empty bottle of lotion on the bathroom counter. So cleanliness was an issue. Also, the room we had was VERY small and HOT! The room was too hot to sleep comfortably.

First time staying here for conference in convention hall across the road. Had concerns since we usually stay at attached Hilton. However this hotel was very clean & easy access. Our group reserved 15 rooms but during ck in was informed we did not have reservations for our 3rd night. We had documentation but hotel some employee dropped the ball. Short story- hotel worked it out for us so Thk You. The only other problem was slow ck out even though they were aware of everyone cking out that morning- they were not prepared staff wise. Valet parking guys were super. Hotel Staff was very nice & professional. The location is great and price was perfect. The restaurant and bat downstairs is very nice. Rooms are cramped and they are doing renovations, which I understand. However, we had no control over heating unit the next day when they replaced it. And the blinds were torn! See picture.
