Soaring Eagle Waterpark and Hotel

Took a quick 1-night trip with a few teenagers. The room was a standard hotel room, but the bed frames made a weird noise every time you sat down or moved. Many of the ar ade games were broken down. The water park was nice. We didn't have to wait in long lines for the slides. Overall a nice little getaway for a good price.

This was one of the worst experiences we have had. If you just want to sleep there, the room was fine. Check in was lengthy and when we got to our room the key didn't work. Replacement #1, when we tried to enter the waterpark, the keys didn't work. Replacement #2. Went in to the Food court to grab some ice cream and was told they closed early on a Saturday night. Why? Went to the hot tub, no towels, were told we needed to bring our own from home and not to use the ones from the room. Dinner was Meh, we had to give our room# to be seated, seriously overpriced bar food then had to pay the bill at the front register. Checkout 11 am, key quit working at 8am, Replacement #3. Not a pleasant experience. Stay at any other place in the area.

We will never pay come back. We paid 584 for one night with 4 water passes. We could have gotten a 150 hotel with a pool and been fine. Patched drywall holes. Leaking toilet, handle to the toilet gets stuck so you have to make sure to lift it everytime you use it. Cobwebs in the corner. One picture on the wall. Not inviting atall. Nothing about this place makes me say " let's go back" the small arcade they do have it too expensive when you have multiple children. Microwave didnt even work for a bag of popcorn! We had to run it twice , it wouldn't rotate to be done correctly. All vending machines out of order. Laser game out of order. Steam room out of order Pool opens at 10. We stayed at this hotel for a hockey tournament and chose it mainly for the water park, expecting it to be fun for the kids. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Check-in was smooth, but charging a “resort fee” is absolutely ridiculous. This place is nowhere near a resort. We arrived around 8:30 pm and went straight to the hotel restaurant for dinner. The restaurant was a mess—dirty tables everywhere. Our server was kind, but that’s the only positive. My daughter’s chicken tenders were burned. My salad arrived without the chicken added. Once they fixed it, the chicken was extremely tough. The lettuce was brown. My husband’s salad wasn’t good either. Then came the bill—almost $80 for two salads and chicken tenders. Booked a stay for my child’s birthday. Waterpark was good. Kids had fun. The room and service however were not great. Check in is not until 4 pm. We arrived shortly after 4 and there was a long line. The wait was about 30 minutes. When it was my turn, the front desk informed me that there were no clean rooms and that it was going to be an additional 30 minutes to an hour wait. Was informed we could use the waterpark and was given a keycard. With no room available, we had to rent a locker. The locker only takes dollar coins. The change machine is broken with a sign that says to get assistance from the front desk. There was still a long line of people checking in to the hotel. I went to the gift shop and the concession stand to try to get change and was turned away. I gave up just in ti
