Smith's Colonial Motel

Got stuck on the highway with a flat at 3am. This was the only place that answered us when we tried to find a place to stay. We got there, and we were checked in immediately. The beds were surprisingly comfortable, the heater got the room warm very quickly (in the middle of January), and check in/out was super simple and quick. The staff was incredibly friendly. If you need a place to stay in the area, they’re great!

This place was amazing, very clean, had working heat, clean bathroom everything was great top to bottom. The people who work here were awesome and super nice and very helpful, I got stuck on the highway with a broken down car and this place is the only one that answered and took me in during a great time of need especially in freezing weather. This isn’t just some normal eh motel, great place, staff, couldn’t ask for anything more. 100% recommend please give these people more business.

This is a clean, quiet motel located a few minutes south of Hancock with gorgeous views of the upper Delaware River. The rooms are cozy, the owners are incredibly friendly (even mailing to me something I had left behind), the grounds are nice for walking or enjoying a sunset and the motel is in top notch condition. I wish we lived closer, we would escape to this motel at every opportunity for a weekend away. Thank you Mike for a great stay!

Great little hotel. Comfortable bed, excellent service. Cindy was very polite and friendly. Made your feel like you were home. Very clean room, accommodation were excellent. Highly recommended toi anyone looking g for a great place to stay, with a small hometown feel.

Overnight stay on a solo motorcycle trip. I stayed in a lot of motels and this has to be about the best little motel I've slept in. Very safe, very clean, super comfy beds lots of pillows, hot water was really hot, location was nice and quiet, you can even see the beaver kill out the window of your room. I left some items in the refrigerator and Mike the owner offered to send them back to me, other places I stayed would have never said anything and just threw them out. I will definitely stay here again when I am in the area!
