Bass Mountaintop Cabin Rental

This is a hidden gem for anyone needing a quiet getaway. I am sitting on the front porch of my cabin watching the sunrise about 25 feet from the golf course fairway. It doesn’t get much better than this. The cabin is very clean and has everything you need. The golf is spectacular on a very well maintained course. The management is so helpful so thank you Bass Cabins for a truly memorable vacation.

An incredible view that is worth the drive up the mountain! Any SUV or vehicle with moderate ground clearance can navigate the road. The cabins are in great shape, very clean, nicely furnished and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking/serving meals. The owners and staff provided great service.

In January 2017 we made reservations at Bass Cabins, Hancock, NY for a one-week trip in May. We chose Cabin #4. It has a beautiful view and the cabin itself was clean and fully stocked. The problem was that when we arrived it was 54 degrees in the cabin and the furnace didn't work as well as the overhead lights on the loft. If you have any problems, you can call the main number for the cabins or the Hancock Hotel. I called the hotel and they sent someone over rather quickly. A gentleman brought 2 heaters for us to use, checked the lights and said someone will be over the next day to look at the lights and the furnace. The heaters took just about all night to heat up the cabin. The stairway going to the loft was dark which was being used by my 2 adult daughters. There was one very dim lamp

This is the most magnificent set up I've ever traveled to. We had a wonderful time and were able to have our fur babies with us! I can't believe it's 40 mins from home! We will be back again and again! Just spectacular.

Beautiful views, spacious cabin and well-stocked. But....window screens had so many holes, there were all kinds of bugs in our cabin. It was like being in a tent. The main reason we wanted a cabin was to have those amenities. Worse, there were rats!! Freaked out! Worst ever. Never coming back. Will see about cutting our vacation short! Update 8/19/20: We saw mice. We covered up the windows too. The mice chomped off the covers. They seemed to do this nightly. They knew where to enter thru and where to go. There were fecal droppings on the oven, kitchen counter tops, table. We had to cover up everything each time and re-wash. On the 1st night, i heard louder/heavier noise on the 2nd floor, which little mice could not be making. Honestly thought it was a person. BUT: my kids still loved
