Sleep Inn & Suites Hattiesburg North

Although the hotel put new carpet in the rooms and hallways (much needed) we have noticed year after year that it is going downhill. Barely any inventory for breakfast, not as clean as it should be, etc. However we did get a good night's sleep.

Got a room tge night before last. First room was dirty and still had used underwear in the floor. They moved us to another room, it was clean but needed some repairs. Pictures are all of the "cleaner" second room. The next morning we woke up to taking cold showers. The bed was reasonably comfortable but there were no pillows, just 4 throw pillows on a king-size bed. I was not impressed with the room at all and will probably never stay there again. I normally stay at another brand of hotels but it was late and the price was nice, so I learned a lesson.

Nice hotel. Didn't get to stay for breakfast. Property inside and out clean. Room was comfortable. No issues. Minor blemishes around bathroom. No need to spell out the negative. Did have a guest next door with the TV on all night. Overall, I will stay again here.

Positive: "" Negative: The room stunk like cigarettes, marijuana and mold. All the walls and carpets and furniture were dirty like the room hadn't been cleaned in years.

Heads up avoid at all cost. Extremely dirty, rooms smell like smoke strongly, front desk was unable to change names on rooms even with all parties present, watery powdered eggs for breakfast, person ahead of us found cockroach in room and left immediately called same # I booked room with and they wouldn’t cancel it. Awful
