We stayed here last year and had an awesome experience. The staff were friendly and we were really looking forward to stopping here again this year. Unfortunately, this time the experience was different. When we checked in, the lady at the counter came across more like a drill sergeant going through the rules than being welcoming or friendly. To get to our site we had to follow a staff member all the way around the park and back toward the front. She pulled us too far forward, which made it impossible to reach the hookups, so we had to be repositioned again. The hookups were located at the very front of the long site, and it didn’t seem like she noticed the issue. Later, I paid extra to use the dog wash station for our two Shih Tzus. The station itself was very nice, but it’s in a very s

We stayed here three years ago, and because of our positive experience, we chose this place again. It's still fantastic. This time we were in space 20, which was a narrower space than we're used to. We were only there for one night, so the proximity to our neighbors wasn't a deal breaker, and the rest of our experience more than made up for it. The setting is beautiful, and the pool/hot tub was exactly what I needed after a long day of travelling. The grounds are clean, the people are friendly, and the amenities (pool, cabana, dog park, laundry) were all great! We didn't take advantage of the dog wash, but what a great idea! I hope we can make it back here before another three years goes by.

We wondered when following directions, of we were going to be in the middle of nowhere. Instead, We were very surprised to see this beautiful little campground appear. The amazing staff are on top of everything. The attention to detail is what makes this place so special. From sending a text daily, to remind us the office/store closes in an hour, to letting us know they are always available to deliver ice, wood or water to our site whenever needed. Add in, us seeing an rv leave and a staff member arriving promptly to rake and level the gravel. The showers in the back side are clean and have hooks and stools, plus plenty of hot water. The showers up front….new and nicer than mine at home. The dog wash station is incredible. It’s an entire room with a stainless steel step in was

This is a hidden gem amongst KOA's! The sites are immaculately cared for. The bathrooms are better than most hotels. The hosts are first rate. We were traveling with 3 dogs in our RV and caravaning with our pickup pulling a minivan. The hosts found the perfect spot for us. When we had electrical issues, they came to our site and helped confirm the issue was in our RV. Our campsite neighbor helped diagnose the problem, which enabled us to sleep with a working AC! This place is awesome.

We have stayed in several KOA’s over the years and just stayed at this one for the first time. This was one of the best! Great overall experience! Cabin was super clean, very comfortable, nice patio furniture, Webber gas Grills. All top notch! They left little giveaways for us and treats for the pups. Linda and Pam were friendly and helpful. Amenities and grounds/sites are very well maintained. We were very impressed with everything. This will be our go to spot on our treks between Texas and Florida. Will definitely stay again!
