Sleep Inn & Suites Galveston Island

I actually read reviews describing this Sleep Inn being a horrible place and decided to go against my better judgement because it was so close to a rally I was attending. In no way is this place a suite, this Sleep Inn is a suite, no table and chairs in the room, it's actually worse then a Motel 6, the rooms are very old and dated, the entire place need some serious updating allover, breakfast was two waffle makers, syrup, apples and cereal, the milk was just setting out on the counter, no fridge are setting in ice to say the least, no protein at all, for the cost, I could have stayed at a much nicer facility and had a hot breakfast and better overall stay a few more miles down the road, sometimes you have to believe the reviews, never again will I go against reviews, good luck if you choo

AVOID AVOID AVOID Our experience at this hotel was beyond disappointing and completely unacceptable. When we first arrived, the lobby was packed with approximately 24 guests waiting to check in. Given the long wait, we decided to leave, get dinner, and return later once the crowd had cleared. When we came back to check in, we were shocked to be told that my parents’ room had been given away despite our confirmed reservation. When we were finally checked into our room, it was filthy and clearly had not been cleaned. There were used, dirty towels, visible feces left in the toilet, and dirty bedding. This raised serious health and safety concerns. We went back to the lobby to calmly raise these issues with staff. Instead of addressing the problems or offering any solution, we were told to

Rooms was dirty, toilet wouldn’t flush and roaches everywhere. Charges two different prices for two identical rooms. Spoke with the front desk, she talked to the manager and they basically don’t care!!!!

We booked this hotel based on a free shuttle to the cruise pier, called 1 week before trip to re-verify and arrived to find no, they did not have a shuttle. On Saturday night we had to scramble to find parking. What a nightmare. Room was spacious but not 100 % clean, we had booked an ADA room, received a non-ADA room with a bathtub. Asked for a shower chair, told no. 2 women at front desk, one pretended not to speak English, except she did on the phone. I asked for washcloths, none were in room, she asked if I wanted shampoo. The list goes on. Breakfast was cereal and milk, or a waffle machine.

Extremely disappointed with our recent stay. When we booked this hotel back in August 2025, we specifically asked about airport shuttle service because we would need transportation from the airport to the hotel. We were assured the shuttle was available and told to call back once our flight details were finalized. In December, after confirming our flight, I called to reserve the shuttle. My information was taken and I was told Dee Singh, the manager who coordinates shuttle requests, would contact me to confirm. Four weeks passed with no follow-up. I began calling weekly to ensure we hadn’t been forgotten. Even during the week of our arrival, there was still no confirmation.
