Galveston Island RV Park

This is my first time to have a long stay at an RV Park for work. I am So thankful it's here at Galveston Island RV Park. The property is a beautiful sight. The palm trees and shrubs are enjoyable to have in abundance on every pad. There are pull through and back in spaces with all utilities as well as Wi-Fi. I've seen the park completely full with campers. I never felt like my neighbors were crowding my space, there's plenty of room between each pad. I had the pleasure to talk with a few campers, usually walking their dogs, they've been polite and friendly. The main house is on stilts with stairs or an elevator to take you up to the bathrooms, showers and laundry. The man in charge? Loved this RV Park. Spots were clean and well-spaced. Easy access. We stayed in spot 63 in the very back. Its a back in spot, 50 amp, sewer/water hookup. No one bothered us. The area was well kept and the palm trees gave it the island vibe! I cant speak to the facilities because we didnt use them. Otherwise, 5 stars and would recommend. They also have lots of different kinds of spots like pull through, back in, small, compact rv spots that back up to the ponds, huge spots for big class As and 5th wheels. The only thing I wish they had was a better map of the sites and numbers on their website. Still 5 stars though! Rick was great.

We are winter retirees. Stayed at quite a few campgrounds this season. This is our favorite so far. The place is nicely kept and the staff are very friendly and personable. Manager Rick is helpful, prompt and professional. The scenery is amazing and just a small 10 minute walk to the beach. For an added effect on Saturday night, you can open your windows and listen to the coolest mariachi band coming from one of the nearby pubs. Also a really nice dog run. My only complaint is against nature. Holy mosquitoes Batman! Once the sun starts to go down, they are relentless. And for some reason, they love me. Other than these little buggers, we really enjoyed our stay here. Would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

I think Galveston Beach RV park is a great value. It is also a really nice campground with spacious sites and well kept grounds. The manager, Ricky, was so accommodating and knowledgeable. Ricky, is actually one reason myself and my friends will be visiting this park in the future visits to Galveston. The other advantages this campground has is it is close to everything and offers full hook-ups.

Galveston Island RV Park has decent spots and it has a little man made lake and it is not far from a lot of the main areas which is convenient. They do have water and sewer hookups along with electric hookups so that part is solid. The downside for me was the upkeep. The showers had hair on the walls and mucus on the floor that looked like it had not been cleaned in a while and one of the bathrooms was missing a hook so there was nowhere to hang a towel or any clothes. They have a little bench inside but it's hardly big enough to put much on. I am not sure if they leave the doors open at night but every morning when I went to shower I was killing mosquitoes and other bugs. They advertise a convenience store but I never saw it open once. They have a laundry area and they offer wifi but th
