Sleep Inn Port St. Lucie at PGA Village

I just visited Florida and needed a place to stay in the PGA Village area. I walked in to get a room after finding this hotel online. It was the most affordable option I could find, and even though I was a little scared because of some bad reviews I read, my experience was the complete opposite! The building and the rooms were beautiful. The room was a little bit dated, but it was still very comfortable. The staff was awesome, especially this one tall guy at the lobby. I didn’t get his name, but he treated us like VIP guests. The only thing they need to work on is breakfast. They had hot waffles, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, bagels with cream cheese, fresh juice, and yogurt, but they were missing eggs. Also, it took them a little too long to refill the food when it ran out. I've never not one time had a issue here. Everyone is always super friendly front desk, housekeeping even the maintenence workers that I have spoke to. Some of the rooms do need a little more updating than others depending if you stay on Mainstays or the Sleep Inn, but overall it's located in a great area. All the fast food restaurants are right down the street. Great location!!!

This place should be condemned!! Gross and disgusting. Where do I begin? The curtains were stained not sure if it was poop on the curtains. You could not see the tv as it was very low. The breakfast had expired yogurt did not have it. If you value your money and life do not stay here!! Also very overpriced. It was one night of pure hell!! The appliances had dents and scratches looks like someone took a hammer to it?

DO NOT STAY HERE. Came for a work trip. The front desk agent was extremely rude and hung up on me twice when trying to modify my reservation. Room had bugs and smelled horribly. I have been trying to contact management for almost a week and they are avoiding my calls with staff telling me different stories of when the manager is there. Corporate can not do anything because the hotel is privately owned. 0/10 recommend. Manager “Kahn” refuses to take any calls from me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I’m not a picky person, but this is completely unacceptable and ridiculous.

For this hotel to be in the location it’s in, it is not up to par. The water didn’t even warm up enough to shower and the tub felt greasy 🤮 I dropped the ac down to 69 and it never got cold. Not to mention the suit room doesn’t have ventilation for air flow from the ac unit. The walls have dirty finger prints on them, and the curtain had some odd crud on it. I had to go and buy my own cleaning supplies and clean a bit just to feel a little at ease. Oh and mind you I saw a roach in the mist of cleaning. I would never stay here again. They really need to do better the carpet looked like it hadn’t even been vacuumed in days. I’m talking about from the welcom mat all the way upstairs to our room. Ridiculous
