Sleep Inn Coney Island

I recently stayed at Sleep Inn Coney Island and had a pleasant experience overall. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-appointed, making it a comfortable place to relax after a day of exploring. I especially appreciated the modern amenities and the cozy atmosphere. However, the service was a bit inconsistent. While some staff members were friendly and helpful, others seemed a bit overwhelmed during peak times, which led to slower response times. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the beach and local attractions, making it a convenient choice for visitors. I would definitely recommend Sleep Inn for its great rooms and convenient location, but hope to see improvements in service during my next visit!

Great hotel for the price. We got there super early and they were nice enough to let us check in before 3p. The room was small but clean, Had to take the elevator instead of the stairs, as the stairwell smelled bad. We noticed trash on the steps but it was cleaned up by the time we walked past again. The only real complaint we could have had was that the air conditioning didn't work well, but it didn't bother us too much. The window opened, we had an amazing breeze during the night but had to shut it before going to sleep as the noise from the street was very loud. The hotel is less than a mile walk from the boardwalk and easy to walk to. Breakfast was good, but the room it is served in is very tiny. We got our food and took it back upstairs to eat. Parking was free, first come first serve

Although my husband and I are native New Yorkers, we stayed here for 1 night because we live far from Coney Island and were planning a late night on the boardwalk. Our hotel room was clean (if very small) and only 5 minutes’ ride away from both Coney Island and Brighton Beach. The hotel itself is very basic, its entrance is (strangely) located at basement level, and the immediate surrounding area is a bit seedy, but there is a bus literally outside the front door that goes to major local points of interest (and it’s easy to catch a cab there at night). With proper planning and precautions, it’s a great base camp for a Southern Brooklyn weekend.

The staff is friendly, check-in is smooth, and the rooms are modern with useful amenities like a mini-fridge, microwave, and free Wi-Fi. Complimentary breakfast and free parking add great value. While the rooms are small, they are clean and well-maintained, perfect for short stays. The location is ideal for exploring Brooklyn and accessing Manhattan. Some street noise can be heard, but overall, it’s a pleasant experience. A good choice for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and affordability near Coney Island.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend “getaway” during the summer. Not the best room, but certainly not the worst. You get what you pay for. We got a small cozy room. The bed fit 2 people comfortably. The room includes a small TV, Wi-Fi, and bathroom. The Coney Island Boardwalk is about a good 15-20 minute walk from the hotel. If you’re looking for luxury, look elsewhere. If you want affordable, this place is a great option.
