Sleep For Less Motel

I selected this motel for the good reviews, location and cost. I booked it several weeks in advance for 2 rooms. She was very friendly on the phone and even offered an early check in option. That is the only positive part of my experience. The day we arrived in town I called to see if we might be able to check in early. We had been driving all night (about 10 hours). She said sorry the rooms were not available yet but she would call as soon as they were. That was great and we decided to go park and wait it out over by the Cabelas. About an hour 1/2 later I get a call. (was excited) Only to be told "we are having plumbing issues sorry we have to cancel your reservations" "not our fault". "wanted to give you time to find other accommodations" .....WHAT!! She did not offer options just have

I usually stay near Cabela's, not anymore, the Roadway Inn downtown Sidney is my new go-to. A polite gentleman checked me in pointing out everything including live music one block away. After eating my Rundza I walked to the music for an hour and returned home for a great night's sleep. This place is by far the Best bang for the buck on my Oklahoma to Montana trip. Second place goes to Roadway Inn in Buffalo Wyoming.

My daughter and I were traveling late. I booked a room but we weren't going to be in until almost midnight. The woman I spoke to was so nice. Had lights on, AC and the door unlocked for us when we pulled in. Much needed rest. Bed was so comfy. My daughter and I loved our stay. We were on the road again early the next morning after a good night rest. We will certainly remember to stay here again whenever coming through the are. Thanks again!

This sweet motel was perfect for us. My husband said, "it was quaint and the nostalgia brought back memories from long ago. "We plan to stay there again. " However we did get in late and didn't realize we needed to contact the owner for her to create the breakfast. There wasn't a hair dryer, so I couldn't utilize the shower. So, for the price, it was good for us.

I love the quiet location. After driving on highway 80 I do not want to sleep by it. This charming place is only about 5 minutes from the freeway and worth the extra minutes. The host is responsive to your comfort. I felt safe and cozy.
