What a great ski area! Privately owned and well run! Only open during the day, no night skiing! Unfortunately, not much snow this season. The road going up was clear, but it can be tricky with snow. Good eats! Rentals and lessons too. Amazing staff!
Such a nice play to ski. The mountain is nice size, with 89 runs and 7 lifts. The rental equipment is well taken care of, and the process is very quick and easy. Only a 30 minute drive from downtown Sante Fe. I would definitely ski here again. Parking is free too!
This is one of my favorite ski resorts in the United States. I love the friendly staff, the beauty of the runs, and the very convenient parking. Free parking is a big plus. The views are stunning, and the snow is consistently excellent—well-groomed and very pleasant to ski on. The downside is the price—it’s quite high, even for a half-day pass. Also, some lifts start closing around 3:40 pm, even though it’s officially stated that everything operates until 4:00 pm. Another issue is the lift speed: the lifts are fairly slow, which takes away a significant amount of actual skiing time. I really think it’s time for the resort to upgrade the lifts or increase their speed. This is especially important on runs intended for more experienced skiers, where there are only blue and black trails. On t
Great place to ski. Fresh, clean snow. Friendly staff! One of my skis broke and would not lock in. Ski patrol helped me down for free from the top. She stayed calm, kind, and professional. The views are amazing. I felt safe the whole time. I will ski here again.
I was pleasantly surprised with this resort. It wasn't originally on our itinerary until a local recommended it. This was my first time driving in light snow and all though there are steep drops and lots of turns the road felt safe. The grounds themselves (early season) were very well maintained with only rock and dirt showing on blacks. Signage was good, clearly marking terrain type and staff on hand to advise and provide guidance at intersections. There are lots of different terrains (nice powder blues, mogule blues, skate through green flats and a big terrain park). The store was equipped with proper gear and the facility clean. I went on a busy day and there were some challenges with avoiding people, however, (since this is my first visit to this park and I was getting acclimated), mo
