Customer Reviews
We stayed at the Inn on the Alameda over the Christmas holiday, and I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was. The rooms were very nice, each with its own little private patio. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which was huge and varied with a Santa Fe flair. The common room was cozy with a fireplace and games. All of the staff were so kind and helpful. We also had dinner one night at the restaurant at the hotel, Joe's Tequila Bar, and it was one of the best dinners we had while in Santa Fe. They set aside some tables for hotel guests so it was much less of a wait than other places. The location was also super convenient- we could walk to the plaza and Canyon Road and there was also a nice creekside trail across the street. We would definitely stay here again.
This hotel is our regular stay for our girls trip every year. It is a fabulous location walking distance to the plaza but far enough away that you can have quiet time. The staff is so nice especially Reyes who goes out of her way to help you and provide a fabulous breakfast buffet. The rooms are nice and clean (we had a patio room). They have a shuttle if needed to take you or pick up from the plaza. We sat by the fireplace and had beer and snacks at night and it was great.
This wonderful hotel is steps away from Santa Fe's Plaza! Everything, galleries, restaurants, shops are easily accessed from here. The service is genuine and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The real plus is the included buffet breakfast, it's not a make your own waffle, we had fresh red chile cheese enchiladas, baked papas, fresh veggies, and eggs, plus all the typical pastries and breads. The coffee was hot and just the right strength for a drip coffee maker. There was a fire in the fireplace! Such a welcoming sight. We will visit again next time we run up to Santa Fe!
Positive: Stayed here for a staycation date night and we loved it! Very charming, downtown location. Welcoming and helpful staff. Spacious and quiet rooms. Great bar/restaurant downstairs and the free breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay here again. Negative: ""
Let’s start with the positive - super friendly staff, the rooms, property and location have a nice southwestern charm. The room and property were very clean. Some of the challenges - the bed was only meh, not the worst I’ve ever slept on but not super comfortable either. Not the most quiet or tranquil experience either. I could easily hear the conversation of pedestrians walking by to and from the restaurant on property. There is no fridge in the room. The Wi-Fi was probably the slowest of any hotel I’ve stayed at. In terms of value, it depends on what you’re looking for. For me, it was a bit of mismatch in expectations. I was hoping for a quiet, tranquil, serene experience to crash in comfort with some nice amenities. I feel like you’re paying more so for the location than anything els
