Simon Kenton Inn

Excellent stay all around! We stayed in the Springfield Suite and next visit we'll try to get a room in the main Inn. Owner was very friendly as were the chef and bartender/waitress. Everyone was doing 5 jobs at once with grace and I applaud them. Dined there during our stay and the food was delicious. Was recommended to try the salmon and that was definitely the right choice. Looking forward to visiting again.

This place is simply AMAZING! We just returned from a 3 night stay in the Hickory Tree House and could not have asked for a more pleasant stay anywhere. The location is perfect for exploring ALL of the Springfield area. We completely enjoyed ourselves hitting a few museums and farmers markets and antiquing. ||This place is so great. The main house has been restored beautifully and has the attached restaurant and bar. There is a barn that was converted into rooms and there is a large building for special events like weddings. Then there are the 3 treehouses off by themselves. The whole place is so historic and private. Have a really nice experience staying in the barn (the Virginia Hunt Suite). The room was very nice and clean. The staff was great and breakfast was very good. Highly recommend!

Theresa is fabulous. She's very attentive and proactive and knows how to work with her guests in a professional yet friendly manner. You don't find those qualities everywhere these days. This is a hidden gem worth checking out.

I planned a surprise birthday dinner for my husband. We were a party of 19. I had been here once before for the breakfast brunch so, I knew this was the perfect place! The service was amazing; the food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect! Everyone was so kind and attentive. We will definitely be back again!
