Holiday Inn Express & Suites Springfield - Dayton Area by IHG

We were very happy with our stay. The hotel is clean, welcoming and convenient. The service was excellent. I was part of a group traveling to the area for a tournament. Allen (and his staff) provided excellent service and accommodated a large group with ease. The hot breakfast was a huge bonus which included delicious fresh ground coffee. The staff at this hotel were available and eager to meet any need we had- they would actually approach us to ask if there was anything we needed. It was refreshing. I highly recommend.

Positive: "" Negative: The room that I booked wasn’t available so they put me in a cheaper room but wouldn’t refund any money. The guy working the desk was rude and didn’t know what he was doing. The hotel smells like weed and needs cleaning. Very bad for a holiday inn express

*** Great stay but at many of the Holiday Inns the pancake machine is broken. Please don't tease me with pancakes if I can't get them. This is a corporate problem, not the local hotel. I want to thank the leadership for providing such a nice place to stay. The room was perfect. The bed and pillows are very comfortable and there was no odor. I want to thank Nathan, Erin and Corey for being so friendly, so considerate. We are having a relaxing time here. Bless all of you.

Our stay was nice, but later we learned that we were incorrectly marked as "no show" and charged for the room, reversing the Rewards points. I was on the phone with 11 people and 1 bot for an hour trying to get it all straightened out. We are still waiting for a resolution. Be careful to document your stay if you choose this hotel.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I have never had a bad stay at this hotel.
