Silent Spring Resort

This resort had 4 cabins. The first two were newer and the last two were built in the 1930s. I’ve stayed in cabin 3 and 4 at different times. The kitchens are very well equipped with all dishes, soap, towels needed. Hot water and water pressure was great. We didn’t bother with the tv but the wifi worked well enough to get google map directions to local attractions. The location was phenomenal. Located close to Crystal creek and Taylor reservoir, Taylor dam and Taylor river. All amazing fishing locations. Almont was super charming with another beautiful fishing spot at Three Rivers. Not far from Gunnison River or another majestic spot called Wilson’s landing. The price of the cabin’s cannot be beat. The cabins were perfect for my husband and me. This little resort is a wonderful place to stay. The cabins are clean and well maintained. The location is great, close enough to town to run errands if needed but far enough from town to feel more secluded. Ron is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area and things to do. The hospitality at this resort is unmatched.

The owner was extremely accommodating and helpful. The cabin was clean and stocked with necessities. My husband and i stayed three nights with our 3 and 6 year old, and cabin 1 was perfect with the sleeping loft for the kids. the surrounding area was beautiful and there was plenty to do! hope to return in the coming years!

I love the location of this Cabin in the mountains. There are 4 cabins to choose from. They are quiet and cozy with all the comforts of home. We rented cabin #4 which had one bedroom with a queen size bed, the living room had a sleeper sofa. There is a fully stocked kitchen, stove, fridge microwave, and all the dishes and cookware you need. And private bathroom with shower / tub combo, there's even a blow dryer. So the longer you stay the cheaper per night. When we were there 1 night was $160.00 per night, 2 night was $140.00 per night, and 3 or more eas $120.00 per night. The bed was comfortable, the cabin was clean and welcoming, I am definitely looking forward to staying here again.

We were pleasantly surprised by how nice our cabin was. It was very clean and the kitchen was very well stocked. It had everything we needed including all the basics, a crock pot and a lot of other extras I didn't expect. We literally only needed to bring our food, clothes and toiletries. Highly recommend staying here and we can't wait to come back again.
