Shivering Timbers Family Campground

Stumbled upon this wonderful spot looking for a last minute campsite. They are incredible people and Tim is an amazing guy. Has a sweet little common area with some games to play. The place is phenomenal already, I can’t wait to see the expansion they have in store. Highly recommended 10/10, looking forward to bringing the family up next year.

We had an awesome time, the owner Tim is a solid dude and has a great place! The boys had a riot and was in a great spot to hit up White Fish Point, the Two Hearted River and hit up some lakes for canoeing! Highly recommend!

I have so many good things about this place I don’t know how to begin lol 1st off, owners are the friendliest people ever! They were so helpful to a couple of newbies on an impromptu trip with no supplies. Definitely worth it and we will be back to really enjoy it next time. MUST VISIT!!!!!!!!! 🤩

It's our 20 year anniversary and we decided to see the falls this year. Drove past and saw this place. Decided to stay for the night and must say it didn't disappoint! We had the perfect location for a meteor shower! It's safe, friendly, clean, cozy, family owned and operated, and affordable! It has everything you need, clean bathroom, water, your own bonfire and a play area! Its also pet friendly. Can't beat that! We'll definitely be coming back! Your Truly, all the way from Warren Mi.

Excellent campground, incredible staff. Very family friendly. Perfect location, especially if you are visiting Tahquamenon Falls or whitefish point! Minutes away from lower falls. My tent was broke a little bit and owner Tim came to my rescue with some nuts and bolts to get us up and running. I will absolutely be back to visit again and highly recommend this campground.
