Andrus Lake State Forest Campground

One of the best campgrounds in the EUP with some of the best dining in the area. Try the brisket at The Inn. It's top-notch. And it's so peaceful at night with the sound of the whippoorwills and owls hooting and all kinds of wildlife I even heard there's an ol flying squirrel in the area 😂 if you're going camping don't give this place a pass it's well worth the stop

Cute, quaint little state forest campground. Not another soul to be seen so we picked the ideal spot to set camp for the weekend. We were there early November so the lack of people wasn't at all surprising.

Camped here twice in October. Beautiful sunsets over the lake. No electricity? No problem.

Such a beautiful atmosphere. Great people. Really missed Bob and Mary this year (camp host) Love camping on this lake. Beautiful views stars at night, close to whitefish point. AWESOME CAMP

Sam, our host, was helpful, friendly and welcoming. It is a beautiful campground- well run, with clean pit toilets. Serene and natural.
