Nice, brand-new-looking bridge that crosses to the island here. The trail completes a circuit around the island and is mostly flat and well-maintained. Toward the northeastern end it does offer a detour across some slightly rockier terrain, but is well worth it.
An absolutely beautiful walk around a small island with water falls on every side! Kids had a blast!
Island at Lower Tahquameno Falls is our favorite spot of this State Park. See our attached photos and videos. We can’t wait to visit this spot again.
