Sherwood Motel

This place was NASTY!!! We booked a stay for 4 nights. We arrived very late. We looked the room over and nothing worked. The TV, fridge, bed lights and phone were all out of service. I asked the front desk about it and they said that it was all unplugged to save money. I tried to plug them all in, but the cords were sticky and they still didn't work. I took pictures of the dirty sheets and nasty bathroom while my husband and son killed roaches. We left at daylight. I have asked SEVERAL TIMES for a refund for the remaining 3 nights, but they refuse. I suggest if you stay at this location, you SLEEP IN YOUR CAR!!! I am a reasonable person, but this place was nasty and the hotel was NOT helpful or accommodating! I am giving it 1 star because it will not let me post it without stars. Their com

Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. First they gave us the wrong room (which still had poop left in the toilet from the previous guests and cigarette burns in the comforters). I booked and paid extra for a non-smoking room with a king bed and we ended up getting a smoking room with two double beds. They had no kings available but moved us to a non smoking double. Then as we settled in there was no toilet tissue. After showering we found out the towels are extremely thin and leave white lint balls all over your body and hair. Then as we get into bed realized the sheets were dirty and had not been changed since the previous guests. There was even a nickel and a penny left in between the sheets to prove it hasn’t been changed. Also, the next morning found out the ice maker did work either.

I stayed here on Saturday September 2nd in room 216, when I read the reviews I was thinking maybe the people were just really high maintenanced because of all the bad reviews this place was given. I am not a high maintenanced person at all but this was the worst hotel I have ever witnessed. I work at the front desk of a hotel and I have cleaned rooms before and this place was unacceptable. I still stayed because it was late when I noticed everything and the bed sheets appeared to be clean. When I went to the desk to check out and tell the front desk all of the problems which I did very nicely because I know what it’s like to work at the front desk of a hotel and get a complaint about a dirty room, most the time the front desk has nothing to do with the actual room itself. got a room via super. showed up. be told they do not have a room for us and we need to ask for a refund. he didnt even check anything and it took me ringing the bell 3 times to be even acknowledged. im exhausted.

Worst place ever! Everything was dirty. The tub was horrible. Roaches everywhere. We should have gotten our money back for killing the majority of the roaches! WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!! And if someone out there is thinking about staying there DONT!!!
