Econo Lodge Cherry Point

I literally needed someplace to sleep for a few hours after being up for over 30 and still having another 14 hour drive home. The young lady at the front desk was great and friendly. The rooms were perfect for what I needed. Were they luxury room? No, but I did not notice an odor and everything was as clean as you expect for the price. The issue is the same with all Econo lodges. The owner does not want to put money into them.

Respectful staff that will go above and beyond, especially Ms.Jenia is kind and courteous. She also speaks Spanish which is helpful to the contractors. I appreciate the prompt housekeeping daily and efforts to maintain the clean atmosphere! I would highly recommend this hotel for working job sites in the area. The only thing could improve would be creating a breakfast option for their clients.

Positive: Nothing... well, maybe the fact the door stayed locked, but other then that, nothing. Negative: Everything! Price, sanitation, dirty mini fridge, hole in the floor, no plunger in bathroom. No tub in the bathroom. Under construction. Not a good place to stay.

Checked into room 103. Ceiling falling down over bed roaches and fleas. Stayed all of 1 hour and that was only because we were trying to decide whether to go continue traveling or go somewhere else. Also, got charged 3xs for my 2 night stay that I was told I was going to be reimbursed for. I had to call multiple times and they kept telling me wait 3-5 days for refund when all my transactions on my account were - not +. I have never had this bad of experience. The photos are no where close to how the place looks.

Staff is super friendly and the place was clean. I recommend to have some live plants inside and outside to make it a little more "inviting" looking. I will always prefer a place who offers breakfast, however you get what you pay for. Coffee was very very good. Bedroom smell a little funny but I bought and put a candle and it fixed it.
