Sheraton Waikiki Beach Resort

My experience at the Sheraton Waikiki Beach Resort was fantastic from start to finish. The location alone is unbeatable — right on Waikiki Beach with stunning ocean views that make every morning feel like a postcard. Being able to walk straight onto the sand or explore the shops and restaurants nearby made everything incredibly convenient. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and modern, with plenty of space to relax after a long day out. I especially loved the balcony views — easily one of the highlights of the stay. The staff deserves a shout‑out too. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. We had a long stay here with our family last summer and overall really enjoyed our time. We stayed at one of their top level suites, which was spacious and very comfortable. The suite included a large living and dining area, along with a separate bedroom and ensuite bathroom. One of the best features was the two large balconies, which offered incredible views overlooking Waikiki Beach all the way to Diamond Head. We had three rooms in total, and the service throughout our stay was very good. There were a couple of things we noticed. The pillows were too soft, and there were no pillow protectors. Great location, 2 minutes walk from all the nice designer stores and lovely food places. The rooms are spacious, clean and very well maintained, beds are comfortable. The infinity pool is absolutely amazing, we were lucky we could enjoy the tortoises from the infinity pool. Stayed 4 nights for thanksgiving, we would definitely go back to Sheraton Waikīkī Beach

I finally got around to writing this review. I stayed here last summer with my kids, and while I’ve had good experiences at this property in the past, this will be my last stay.||The positives:|The rooms are nice and recently updated. Housekeeping was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and consistent. The hotel has excellent direct beach access, and the outdoor seating area with rocking chairs is a beautiful spot to relax in the morning. The infinity pool itself is impressive and visually stunning.||The negatives:|Unfortunately, the front desk staff were rude and not very accommodating. As a Titanium Elite member, my status felt meaningless. The elevator areas are chaotic, and the main pool area is poorly managed. Conveniently located at the central area of Kalakaua Ave, and there is a Lawson store right next to the elevator lobby! The Royal Hawaiian Shopping Centre is also right around the corner, with cafes, restaurants and shopping. Walking distance to everything else on the strip. Very nice Infinity Pool and Beach area access. Decent room size that are recently renovated, the Penthouse Oceanfront room has a great and clear view of the Diamond Head. The only down side is that our room is close to the elevator hall, you can hear the elevators running late at night. It is also noteworthy that if you book under a group, you will not be able to enjoy any of your Bonvoy Elite benefits y, e.g. Late Checkout or Room Upgrades. Otherwise it's a pleasant stay.
