OUTRIGGER Reef Waikiki Beach Resort

We have had a fantastic stay here at the Outrigger Reef! The location is perfect. You’re on the beach and out of the busy part of Waikiki, but close enough for everything to be easily walkable. There is a beach and boardwalk next door, as well as a park that are great for walking or getting a run in. All of the staff is wonderful, especially our room host Divina! She was such a pleasure to talk with each morning, and always made sure we had everything we needed. It’s a very relaxing atmosphere, and everything you could need is available in the hotel. There is an ABC store, car rental, and excursion center. The on-site restaurant Monkeypod, is wonderful. The food and drinks are delicious and service is mostly great. Sofia was our favorite server!||The rooms are spacious and very comfortable

This hotel was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, everything was spotlessly clean, modern and beautifully maintained. The room was fresh, comfortable and felt so welcoming — exactly what you want when staying away from home. The staff were friendly, professional and always happy to help. Housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping the room clean and tidy, and every part of the hotel was well looked after. We had such a wonderful stay and couldn’t fault a single thing. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and high-quality hotel experience.

Hotel personnel and services were friendly and prompt. The hotel was kept very clean, including the two rooms we booked. Our rooms had beautiful views of the beach, and you could walk on beach right out of hotel, very nice!  There are many great restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. Another plus, Starbucks is located on the hotel premises. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would love to stay here on another trip except we did not anticipate the $60 a day valet parking because parking is very limited in Waikiki.  Maybe other hotels have limited parking - I don't know; however, hopefully, others will find free or cheaper parking options when staying at this hotel.

Highly recommend the Outrigger Reef! Property is a great location with all of the amenities you need - ABC store, Monkeypod Restaurant, Starbucks and a nice pool/hot tub. This isn’t a high end property, but incredibly comfortable, relaxed and exactly what you want for Hawaii. It’s very walkable to all of Waikiki. We did an oceanfront room which was spacious but the balcony was tight, although perfectly fine for two people to sit out on and eat breakfast/drink coffee. The staff were great, although we had minimal interaction. The beach immediately out front is a bit rocky but many other options in walking distance. 5 stars, would stay here again and would recommend to everyone. This is a kid friendly hotel (you can decide if that’s good or bad).

The only regret about this hotel is that the sundeck is only available during breakfast and dinner… the rest of the time this area stands empty. What a waste of a beautiful area. Our family loved relaxing there until we were told not to (to did not have signs about the times allowed to use the area). ||Everything else was very good. |Nice hotel, clean, friendly personel, building and rooms in good condition, super location by the water and in a nice neighbourhood. In walking distance from the interesting part of the centre of Waikīkī. The restaurants in the hotel are also very nice. Serene pool and a nice and discrete garden environment. Live Music every night :-)
