I really enjoyed my stay here. When I got the orientation brief I did realise they had beach kit, surfboard and things you can use, mostly for free with the surf boards only $5. The room was nice, although lacked any chest of draws which would make things better. Though the AC in the room as good and much needed. Washers work well and the staff were lovely. 100% I would recommend staying here.
My friend and I shared a queen sized bed in a private room. There were 3 rooms with a kitchenette, microwave and fridge, toilet and separate shower. Great value! The location is in a more residential area compared to the others offered by the same company. The beaches closer to the hostel were less busy which I loved. There is a 7/11 and 2 bars right behind the hostel. The boat harbor closest to the hostel has turtles in the morning and early evening. There is a whatsapp chat for all of the hostel guests including the other hostels owned my the same company. We met lots of friends and were able to go on more adventures through it. Very clean hostel. No shoes allowed in the common area kitchen downstairs or in your rooms. No garbage cans in the bedrooms. They are right outside the units.
It was simply perfect ! The room was functional and nice, bathroom and toilets clean. The common areas are very useful and clean too. Imi was very nice and helpful, it was really a delight talking to her ! You have also free snorkeling and beach gears for you to use ! I would recommend this Hotel if you are staying in Honolulu! The location is ideal be it to go to Waikiki center or to the marina, with bus stops 1 min away and a 7/11 that could really be useful for day tours.
I was recently in Hawaii from November 2nd until the 9th while I was at the Renaissance Hotel for the first half of my trip I have to admit that being here from the 5th to the 9th was absolutely awesome. I loved the atmosphere, staff and people who stayed here everyone was super friendly and I felt so comfortable. I was able to meet some cool people and I had no issues sleeping or showering as I am 6'5 320 pounds and I was comfortable. The room was nice and it also came with a microwave, stove and full refrigerator. I really appreciate that they had snorkeling gear, wake boards, flippers and other equipment that you could borrow for free and the hot coffee along with the various snacks that were made fresh daily. I would definitely stay here again and I also donated the snorkeling gea
We had a great time at Honu, the people that work there were lovely and there was everything you needed including water floats, snorkels, chairs etc. The room was basic with a bunkbed but hey you pay cheap, you get cheap. They had a cinema evening and baked cookies a small appreciated gesture. All in all very happy, already rebooked!!
