I'm very happy with my experience here. All of the staff, from front desk to restaurant to housekeeping, were friendly and professional. I had two meals onsite and both were good. My room was very clean and comfortable. All in all, I was very pleased with my stay.
For this to be the Sheraton this hotel needs to do better. Stayed here for my birthday weekend. The mattress had a hole in it. This is crazy. Its time for this hotel to update their rooms. The elevator was so loud we could hear it in our room.
***Why are phones in the rooms, when none of phones in rooms I stayed in works??? Been here a couple of times previously two months ago, and the night shift front desk staff (ladies) were always snobby and rude upon in. As if doing their job was the most daunting thing ever. The current night staff is much nicer! One gentleman -David, and I do not know the Caucasian gentleman’s name, but both are super sweet.. There’s also a wonderful Asian lady at the front desk during the day. ***Why does Marriott hotels take the microwave out. Please don’t say it’s a fire hazard when I’ve been traveling for 40 years. So, the biggest thing you need to know is that this hotel has completely punted on parking. They tell you to park in an unaffiliated garage across the street, but as expensive as it is, there is no reentry, there is no discount. It's frankly absurd that a flagshipish brand has no parking solution whatsoever and haven't partnered with someone. Unacceptable. The staff was excellent at the front desk. Friendly and professional. The hotel soft product is clean where it counts, but has wear and tear maintenance issues. Drywall tape seams, ceiling water stains, rachety elevators... Nothing some minor investment wouldn't fix, if anyone cared to. But seriously, don't stay here if you have a car.
Not a good stay overall. Was in the hotel for 2 nights as part of a soccer tournament. The first issue is that despite being in a downtown area, the hotel strangely has no parking. Their suggestion is to use nearby unaffiliated parking garages (thus with no in/out privileges). If you stay on a weekend, I recommend finding street parking nearby which is free.||The rooms are old and not well-maintained. There are mold stains, large pieces of wood chipped off, etc. The pubic elevators have a similar not-kept-up appearance. Cleanliness was below average in terms of the floors. Pillows were very small and thin. Although listed as queen beds, the beds at least seemed to be smaller than expected. There was no outside noise but hallway and nearby room noise transmitted fairly easily. The provided
