Sheraton La Jolla Hotel

Stayed Thanksgiving week. Room was nice for a home base. Bed was comfortable and the room has a stand up desk that was a pleasant surprise. Windows opened for fresh air. Biggest complaint the room is the sliding translucent (not see through!) bathroom door that lights up the whole room when used in the night. Property was quiet, we sat out at the pool on comfy lounge sets one afternoon, and several families were enjoying the water. Visited the bar once - service was ok and drinks were well made. Best feature of this hotel is it's location. Easy walk to delicious coffee, a little Pho restaurant, and a mall. <10 min drive to La Jolla cove and all it's sunset views, sea lions, magnificent birds, and tasty restaurants.

Enjoyed my check in experience with Christian Ramos. He was very helpful in accommodating us with a room for our autistic daughter and our newborn baby. I must say I’m very satisfied with our room. I appreciate Christian’s help!!! Thank you Christian. This hotel is Autism friendly!!!

I don’t give 5 stars out often… and was going to give this a 4, but since it had a 4.1 rating I didn’t want to punish them - I was happy enough with this hotel to take the time to review it.|First off (and for the first time in a LONG time) I have to give the praise the management of this hotel. It is well run and the staff is great. I had a package get delivered to the hotel (on my 6 night stay) and they called me when arrived and held it until I got off work that night. Daily housekeeping without request. |Excellent executive lounge, the best I have seen in a Long time! Good quality food, complimentary drinks and great staff. I was there in the morning and at nights and never a huge crowd.|Rooms are nice and clean.|Hot tub was nice - pool towels you get with you key with a warning if you

Positive: Comfortable rooms with enough space, good lighting, comfortable beds, and blackout shutters on the windows. The individual room A/C unit wasn't completely quiet, but with the fan on low, it wasn't too loud when it turned off and on. Negative: $30 parking and no free coffee (whether in room or in a lobby) is stingy, but the adjacent outdoor mall (accessible via a gate using your room key card) has several dining and coffee options, including a Philz and a Whole Foods with full coffee bar.

Got the opportunity to stay here and it was beautiful! I liked that it sat up on the hill away from hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms were clean and I loved the villa feel to them. Although the gym was small, it had what I needed to get a workout in while away from home. I do wish they had a bathroom located inside so that you didn’t have to go back to your room, so maybe this is something they can work on. Overall a great stay and all the employees were friendly.
