Holiday Inn Express & Suites la Jolla – Windansea Beach by IHG

Staying here for a weekend getaway and love it. Fantastic location, just 5 min walk to the beach ⛱️. You may not realize but having free parking is huge. By mid day all street parking is taken by beach goers. Solid hot breakfast (included), and relaxing atmosphere. Room seems to be partially upgraded, with comfortable bed and upgraded bathroom. Courig coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge in the room. Overall, super happy with the choice.

This hotel has a great location being a short walk to the beach. Is also convenient for all our favorite restaurants. Room was great but best thing here was the staff. In particular would like to point out Jack, Kristof, and Rali for all they did to make our stay great.

I have the best sleep ever! I booked the suite and the place is nice and clean. So convenient with the bus stop next to it. Can go anywhere in La Jolla by bus! So I don’t need to worry about finding parking anymore! The breakfast is nice and the snack bar has everything I need. Highly recommended and will definitely stay again!

A brilliant hotel in a great location. The photos don’t do it justice! Looks like the hotel is or has just undergone some refurbishment as the rooms feel brand new. The beds are comfy there’s good facilities with heated pool and the jacuzzi and breakfast included isn’t bad either!

I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Express at La Jolla Windansea Beach, and I cannot speak highly enough of the General Manager, Rali. It is rare to see someone so personally invested in their guest experience. I shared some feedback regarding my stay, and she addressed it with incredible speed and genuine care. And she made incredible outdoor activity suggestions to explore San Diego/LA area in depth, which made our trip both fun and memorable. Beyond the stellar service, the hotel’s location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the beautiful La Jolla beaches. If you’re looking for a well-managed property in a prime spot, this is it.
